The Alpha 87A is capable of 1.5kW continuous RF output on all commonly used modes and on any authorized amateur frequency from 1.8 to 29.7 MHz. Band change and tune-up are microprocessor controlled.
Capable of full CW break-in (QSK) and all digital modes when used with any appropriate transceiver. From a local SK ham estate. Is in very nice physical condition. Was in operation in the SK's station with a Yaesu FT-2000D transceiver. Non-smoking environment and sold "as is" and no returns. Additional pictures available upon request. WRL Atlas 2KW HF Amplifier, 20, 40 & 80 meters, four 572B tubes, tested and certified fully operational by a trusted repair facility before being placed in climate controlled storage in 2018 where it has been since. Full output of over 2KW PEP. There are only 2 of these amplifiers known to exist and this is one of them. Sold "as is" with no guarantees nor returns.
